Wyrd, or Wyrd energy, is the term given to the property of a Wyrdfissure and its ilk to transform and modify its surroundings. It is often given a "form" by researchers, referring to it as an almost gaseous substance, though there is no proof it is physically bound to this world.
Wyrd has a variety of unpredictable effects, and appears in various concentrations throughout the Split Lands, most often near Wyrdfissures.
